Pamela Ruth Oberlies, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born June 5, 1951, in Anaheim, California, to James William Jones and Ava Waggoner Jones. She was 70 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, James William Jones.

She was known by those who loved her as "Uncle Pam."

She is survived by her two sons, Levi Oberlies and wife Cherish of Charleston and Eric Johnson of Fort Smith; her mother, Ava Jones of Charleston; her companion and best friend, Chuck Oberlies of Charleston; a sister, Kim Linville and husband Rick of Charleston; two brothers, James Jones and wife Patti of Reno, Nevada, and Bob Jones and wife Juli of Nebraska; five grandchildren, Leah, Caleb, Tessa, Ashley and Ryan; and two great-grandchildren.

A private (immediate) family memorial service will take place this Saturday, June, 12, 2021, at Grandma Ava's house.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower in Charleston.
