Pamela Kay Childers, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at Covington Court Nursing Center  in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on November 15, 1947, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, to the late Roy Pope and Ethel (Stanley) Pope. She was 76 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Delton Pope.

Pamela was a registered nurse for many years.

Committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 9th at Hosanna Cemetery, north of Charleston, with Rev. Randy Moore officiating.

She is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" Nelson of Clarksville and one sister, Loretta Pope of Charleston.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
