Pamela Ann Been of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, died Monday, April 21, 2025, at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on March 11, 1952, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Urban Carl Seifert and Isabel Marie (Wilhelm) Seifert. She was 73 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Cathy Seifert; and two brothers, Mark Seifert and Dick Seifert.

Pam was a 1970 graduate of Charleston High School. For 16 years, Pam was an executive secretary for Linn Energy, Inc. based in Houston, Texas, and was a member of St. Kateri Catholic Church in Roland, Oklahoma. Pam loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 24th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston, with Father Jeff Polasek officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mike Been; two daughters, Melissa Wesley and husband Michael of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Laura Canfield of Fort Smith; a sister, Debbie Burnett of McGehee, Arkansas; two brothers, Larry Seifert of Greenwood and Randy Seifert of Conway; and three grandchildren, Elliott Rogers, Madison Canfield and Luke Canfield.

Pallbearers are Paul David Gramlich, Charlie Ketter, James Rogers, Jarrod Seifert, Daniel Seifert, and Elliott Rogers.

Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23rd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Deacon Mark Verkamp. Following the Rosary service, the family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
