Pamela Owen Barnett of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Saturday, December 9, 2023, in Heart of Hospice Inpatient Unit at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 9, 1965, in Red Wing, Minnesota, to Leo Archie DeGross and Anita Joy (Williams) DeGross. She was 58 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Archie DeGross, and her brother, Nathan A. DeGross (Andy).

Pamela loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.  She enjoyed the outdoors, the sunshine, camping, and flower gardening.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

Pam is survived by her loving companion, Tim Sharp of Fort Smith; two daughters, Stephanie Reynolds of Paris and Leta Barnett of Fort Smith; her mother, Anita Williams-Deken of Subiaco; three sisters, Angela Goulette of Muldrow, Karon Willhite of Fort Smith, and GyAna Garner and husband Chris of Subiaco; eight grandchildren that she loved very much, Chevelle and Riley Reynolds, Darren Vines, Cash and Lila Barnett, Anhie Tippit, Abigail Varnell, and Annaleah Evans.

The family offers a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Baptist Health Hospital and Heart of Hospice in Fort Smith.
