Obituary

Pam Marie Shelby of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born on September 18, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Howard L. Humbles and Margaret C. (Strumbach) Humbles. She was 66 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Morgan Nickell.

Pam was a black jack dealer at Choctaw Casino in Pocola, Oklahoma. She was also an organ donor in hopes that she might help someone or some family in need. She loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27th at Sebastian Lake in Hackett. Please drop by and celebrate her with the family.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Thomas Shelby; sons, Gregory Howell (Jennifer), Christopher Shelby and Justin Shelby (Janie); daughters, Tiffany Nickell (Ken) and Melanie St. John (Richard); grandchildren, Kaylin Nickell, Joseph Nickell, Evan Griffin, Ashli Crenshaw (Bradley), Sierra St. John, Avery Masterson, Maddison Shelby, Ryan Shelby, Colten Shelby, Cason Shelby, Colby Shelby, and Carson Shelby; great-grandchildren, London Hamby and Cove Crenshaw; a sister, Kim Barnes and ex-husband, Gilbert Howell; a niece, Tara Berg (Jason); and two nephews, John Fuller and Jared Fuller.
