Obituary

Orval Dean Hurley, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born May 20, 1943 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Joseph Hurley and Eunice (Cooksey) Hurley. He was 71 years old. He was also preceded in death by one son, Kevin Hurley; one sister, Christine Walker and three brothers, Joe, Patrick, and Glen Hurley.

Orval was a retired supervisor at Correll, Inc. in Charleston and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret (Ethridge) Hurley; three daughters, Michelle Hurley of Russellville, Trina Scarbrough of Paris, and Melinda Sosebee of Charleston; two sons, Randy Hurley of Charleston and Bruce Hurley of Russellville; (13) grandsons and (12) great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
