Obituary

Norman Edward Duvall, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, died Friday, March 4, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 9, 1940, in Logan County near Paris to the late George Alec Duvall and Leddie A. (Hice) Duvall. He was 81 years old. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Sherry Raggio and Sheila Krallman; two sisters, Willie Mae Greb and Lorene Ballew; and a brother, Leo Duvall.

Norman was a retired employee from the City of Charleston. Back in his early years, he milked cows for Warren Flanagan Dairy, worked for the Farmer's Cooperative in Branch, Dale's Service Station in Charleston, and Ron Rice Heavy Equipment in Charleston. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and attended the Assembly of God Church in Roseville. Norman was a hard worker and a good friend to many. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Pastor Wayne Thacker officiating. Cremation will follow after the service, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of almost 62 years, Shirley (Cameron) Duvall; two daughters, Norma Spicer and husband James of Paris and Tonya Chance and husband Les of Austin, Texas; one sister, Sue Wozniak of Paris; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are Ron Rice, Dale Rice, David Rice, Bryan Buckner, Frankie Spanel, Joe Flanagan, and the late Pierre Meador.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home in Charleston.
