Norman Crossno, who resided in Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born March 24, 1932, in Mount Vernon, Arkansas in Faulkner County to the late Ben Crossno and Nina (Gassaway) Crossno. He was 84 years old.
Norman was a Tool and Die Maker at S.M.U. in Dallas, Texas. He was also owner & operator of a heating & air conditioning business for many years. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a Master Mason and life-time member of Aubrey E. Hope No. 1446 in Balch Springs, Texas. He was a member of Meno's Bible Class and First Baptist Church in Greenwood.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 22nd, at First Baptist Church in Greenwood, with Mr. Dick Coan officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Hawthicket Cemetery, located northeast of Conway, Arkansas, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Seifert and husband Larry of Greenwood; one niece, Pattie Crossno of Guy; three nephews, Tim Schichtl of Greenwood, Scott Schichtl of Conway, and Ricky Crossno of Guy.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Meno's Bible Class of Greenwood First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Greenwood.
