Norma Jane Fisher of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at her home. She was born on March 8, 1950, in Natural Dam, Arkansas, to the late Raymond Leslie Heckard and Dolly Ann (Mongold) Heckard. She was 75 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Polly Andrews, Wilma Brown, and Rachel; a brother, Tom Heckard; and a grandson, Nicholas Lowther.

For several years, Norma worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken. She loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Fisher of Fort Smith, Kendra Fisher (Tammy) of Barling; Tiffany Holmes (Tracy) of Fort Smith, and Gayle Hurd (Perrion) of Little Rock; two sisters, Mary Mongold of Natural Dam and Joyce Chapman (Jerry) of Muldrow, Oklahoma; three brothers, Roy Heckard of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Leslie Heckard (Debbie) of Del City, Oklahoma, and Harmon Heckard (Anna); her grandchildren, Nathan Fisher (Nikki), Noah Fisher(Kylah), Ethan Fisher, Josh Fisher, Kolby Kerr (Summer), Ashley Morgan (Jonathan), Arianna Black, and Adilynn Black; and several great-grandchildren.
