BRANCH — Nina Norene "Beason" Swain, 88, of Branch died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in Charleston. She was born April 11, 1918, in Franklin County. She was a homemaker, a member of the Assembly of God in Branch and the widow of Roy Swain.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Brotherton Funeral Chapel in Charleston with burial at Caulksville Cemetery.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ratterree of Branch; three sons, James Swain of Denair, Calif., and Melvin and Carroll Swain, both of Branch; a sister, Iva Matthews of Cordova, Tenn.; three brothers, Eugene and Everett Beason, both of Sonora, Calif., and Ethan Beason of Russellville; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James, Randall, George, Leroy, Ronnie, Curtis and Jerry Swain and Daniel Ratterree.
