Nila Mae Foster of Paris, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008, in her home. She was born March 30, 1926 in Paris to the late Ralph Davison and Olean "Rose" Davison. She was 82 years old. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star Harmony Chapter in Fort Smith, and was a member of the Phoenix Village Baptist Church in Fort Smith.
She is also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Wilmer A. Foster; one grandson, Jeremy Foster and one brother, Bobby Davison.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2008, at the Midway Assembly of God, with the Rev. Eldon Thomas officiating, with burial at the Ellsworth Cemetery, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by one daughter, Belinda Eckle of Ozark; three sons, Don Foster & wife Nancy of Ratcliff, Ron Foster & wife Barbara of Branch, and Randy Foster & wife Brigitte of Greenwood; one sister, Ruth Rhinehart of Midway; six grandchildren, Todd, Alena, Deanna, Mike, Joshua, and Amanda and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Todd Foster, Mike Foster, Joshua Carter, Chris Pennington, Steve Rhinehart and Billy White.
Family visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
