Neva Faye Whitson resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born October 26, 1937 in Macon, Missouri to the late Ernest Claydean Myers and Margaret (Perrin) Myers. She was 72 years old.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl David Whitson, Sr. and one sister, Pamela Lucille Anderson.

Neva was a retired employee for Tyson Foods in Clarksville.

The body was cremated under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6th at the Paris Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Joyce Frantz & husband David of Scranton, Karla Black & husband James of Clarksville, Robin Holley of Scranton, Linda Cooper & husband John of Paris, and Stacie Friemel & husband David of Subiaco; five sons, Carl David Whitson, Jr. & wife Susie of New Balaine, Ernest Dean Whitson & wife Debbie of Paris, Charles Daniel Whitson of Paris, Steven Ray Whitson of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and Michael Richard Whitson & wife Misty of Paris; five sisters, Guynith Evans of Midland, Georgia, Karen Lagle, Rose Ann Duckworth, and Norma Hangley, all of Macon, Missouri, and Sherry Smith of Columbus, Georgia; three brothers, Lawrence Myers, Larry Myers, and Jimmy Myers, all of Macon Missouri; (19) grandchildren and (10) great grandchildren.
