Nelta Sue Jetton Sugg, who resided in Fort Smith, died Monday, April 12, 2021, in Fort Smith. She was born November 29, 1937, in Vesta, Arkansas, to the late Burl Jetton and Rosie Lee (Jameson) Jetton. She was 83 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Norma Sellers, a brother, Charles Jetton and a great-granddaughter, Alianna Renee Mann.
Nelta and Bill have been married for 60 years and she has been a homemaker. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, with Bro. Mark Weaver, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Sugg; her daughters, Lisa McCurdy and husband Steve, Linda Mann and husband Rick and Lori Hines and husband Bill; five grandchildren, Kyle Mann, Spencer McCurdy, Alex Mann, Megan Hines Smith and husband (Weston) and Katie Hines and one great-grandchild, Kya Mann.
Family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 on Thursday evening at the Funeral Home in Charleston.
