Obituary
Nelta Joyce Blamey, who resided in Scranton, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016, in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was born December 9, 1942, in Dublin, Arkansas in Logan County to the late Lewis H. Plank and Mildred Lucille (Tillman) Plank. She was 73 years old.
Nelta was a security guard at Tyson Foods, Inc. in Clarksville. She was a homemaker, a 1960 graduate of Muldrow High School, and she was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will be at Ware Chapel Cemetery in Dublin, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Johnnie J. Blamey; her son, John Blamey and wife Jaime of Clarksville; two granddaughters, Morgan and Katelyn Blamey.
Pallbearers will be Tim Beck, J.T. Walker, Gary Lovan, Robert Zimmer, David Andrepont, Anthony Andrepont, and Kevin Schouweiler.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
