Nancy Jean Hale, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, died Friday, January 28, 2022, at her home. She was born on June 24, 1954, in Spirit Lake, Iowa, to the late Kingsley C. Richards and Delia (Amis) Richards. She was 67 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Hale and a son, Russell Hubbard.

She is survived by a daughter, Heather Schuster and husband Kody; a brother, Mike Richards and wife Sharon; three grandchildren, Angel Hilburn, Ashley Hilburn, and Jaime Caffrey.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
