Nella Nadine Richmond, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, died Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston. She was born on March 24, 1936, in Clarksville, Arkansas, to the late Alford Leon Carroll and Marie (Russell) Carroll. She was 87 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of almost 63 years, Bill Richmond.

Nadine was a beautician and a retired seamstress at the Shirt Factory in Charleston, and was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Booneville.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 29th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. Lee Canada officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Heffley and husband Allen of Charleston; a son, Barry Richmond of Little River, Kansas; two sisters, Billie Ceccerelli and Elaine Carroll, both of Sacramento, California; a brother, Leon Carroll of Sacramento, California; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Nadine's family members.

The family will visit with friends on Monday morning starting at 10:00 a.m. one hour prior to the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
