Myrtle Nellie Kitching of Charleston, Arkansas, died Monday, December 19, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on April 9, 1950, in Sacramento, California, to the late William Franklin Lukins and Ethel Mae (Anderson) Lukins. She was 72 years old.

Myrtle was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Tonya Deer of Pocola, Oklahoma, and Teresa Jackson of Carrollton, Kentucky; a son, Shaun Kitching of Fort Smith; a sister, Rosie Lukins of Ozone, Arkansas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
