Obituary

Mozelle Fox of Panama, Oklahoma, died Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Oaks Healthcare Center in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was born on July 18, 1935, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Claude Elmer Bethune and Mattie Velma (Sewell) Bethune. She was 87 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis D. Fox; three brothers, Bob, Jimmy, and Sam Bethune; and a sister, Geraldine Fortney.

Mozelle was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 20th at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, Arkansas, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Bro. Harlin Brewton.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Claborn of Panama and Connie Rogers and husband Jim of Paris; two sons, Curtis Eugene Fox and wife Thi of Flower Mound, Texas, and Robert Fox and wife Angie of Desert Hot Springs, California; two sisters, Pat Lane of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Gloria Tyndall of Springtown, Texas; two brothers, Lenus Stanley Bethune and wife Nora of Utah, and Larry Bethune and wife Gloria of San Tee, California; (9) grandchildren, (18) great-grandchildren, and (9) great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are David Rogers, Daniel Rogers, James Ritter, Sid Ritter, Chase Culwell, and Ronald Claborn.

Public viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. There will be public viewing at the graveside service on Tuesday.
