Obituary

Mona Clare Black, who resided in the Roseville community, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born December 9, 1930 in San Pedro, California to the late Clarence Edward Jones and Millie Hester (Howden) Jones. She was 82 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Francis Black.

Mona was a homemaker and poultry farmer. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, and playing bingo. She was a member of the SPBGMA Bluegrass Association and member of Roseville Assembly of God.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23rd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Wayne Thacker officiating. Cremation to follow after the service, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

She is survived by one daughter, Ramona Black of Roseville; one son, Buddy Black and wife Terri of Siloam Springs, and two grandsons, John-Henry and Hank.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
