Mitchell Ralph Hutchins, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, died Monday, September 6, 2021, in Charleston. He was born July 8, 1963, in Charleston. He was 58 years old. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hutchins Gipson and a grandson, Logan Scallions.
Mitch was a painter. He previously owned and operated Hutchins Painting Company and later on, worked with his cousin Eddie Hutchins with Hutchins Painting Company. Mitch loved to hunt and fish. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 9th at Island Cemetery, located east of Lavaca on Hwy. 96, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Bro. Scott White.
He is survived by three daughters, Amber Hutchins of Charleston, Dannielle Ginn and husband of Van Buren, and Brandi Ralston and husband Taylor of Charleston; his sister, Glenda Meyers and husband Dean of Alma; his brother, Mikie Hutchins of Charleston; seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Johnny McConnell, Dean Meyers, Caleb Meyers, Johnny Wayne Harris, Bailey Hutchins, and Matt Ginn.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
