Michelle Alyssa Hewitt-Nelson, who resided near Greenwood, Arkansas, died Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on November 25, 1975, in Fort Smith to Ronald Wayne Hewitt and LaDonna Kay (Harper) Hewitt. She was 50 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Wayne Hewitt.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Bro. Kyle Horton, pastor of Union Baptist Church near Lavaca. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by a daughter, Amber Nguyen; a son, Christopher Nguyen; her mother, LaDonna Bice of Greenwood; a sister, Rikki Hewitt of Fort Smith; and two brothers, Trevor Bice and Travis Bice.
