Michael Patton Walker, who resided in Poteau, Oklahoma, died Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home. He was born on August 31, 1942, in Shady Point, Oklahoma, to the late Bill Arnold Ernest Walker and Ocie Bell (Harris) Walker.. He was 80 years old.

Michael worked in construction. He was an U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran and was a Purple Heart Recipient.

He is survived by a brother, Ira Walker of Poteau.
