Obituary
Michael Lee Sledge, who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at Farmington, New Mexico. He was born February 26, 1962 in Farmington, New Mexico to Willy Lee "Bill" Sledge and Hilda (Gregory) Sledge. He was 50 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willy Lee "Bill" Sledge; his paternal grandparents, Willie Carl Sledge and May Elizabeth (Merchant) Sledge; his maternal grandparents, Hugh Aron Gregory and Dovie Mae (Robinson) Peterlin.
Michael loved the history of the Four Corners, art, his church family, and most of all he loved his family and friends. His greatest passion was the Lord.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 8th, at Marietta Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Vondal Davenport.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; his children, Brad, Aundrea, Melissa, Nathan, and Morgan; his mother, Hilda Sledge; two sisters, Ruth Hall and Retha Barnard; one brother, Ken Brown; seven grandchildren.
