Michael William O'Donnell, who resided in Fort Smith, died Tuesday, August 11, 2020, in Fort Smith. He was born September 30, 1958, in Norwalk, California, to the late Lawrence O'Donnell and Pearl Inez (Spencer) O'Donnell. He was 61 years old. He was preceded in death also by a brother, Lonnie O'Donnell and a sister, Sharon Christenson.

Michael was a retired welder and served in the U.S. Navy.

A memorial graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jessica O'Donnell of Fort Smith and Megan O'Donnell of Hensley, Arkansas; two sisters, Peggy Carrigan of Red Bay, Alabama and Anna O'Donnell of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, Gabrielle Pillstrom, Myra Wilhoite, Tazmyn Kent, Elias Paker, Vera Paker, and Lawrence Weise.
