Michael Elvin Lewelling, who resided in Lavaca, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020, at Paris Health & Rehab Center in Paris. He was born September 19, 1953, in Lynwood, California, to the late Dewie Lewelling and Marie (Summers) Lewelling. He was almost 67 years old.

Michael was a mechanic.

He is survived by his two children, Jarod Lewelling and wife Korbie of Blue Ridge, Texas and Jasmine Smith and husband Matt of Lavaca; a step-son, John Knight of Felicity, Ohio; two brothers, Harold Lewelling of Pickton, Texas and Jim Lewelling of Russellville; two sisters, Kay Meyers of Lavaca and Ann Suter of Charleston; nine grandchildren, Andrew Knight, Dewie Lewelling, Lilybet Lewelling, Clinton Lewelling, Dale Smith, Bailey Baldwin, Abbey Baldwin, Emily Lindsey, and Finley Lindsey.
