Melissa Dawn Lang

Melissa Dawn Lang of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on September 20, 1967, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Donald Miesner and Sue Robertson. She was 58 years old. She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents. 

Melissa was a homemaker and was of Church of Christ faith.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th at the Logan County Event Center in the Bingo Center located in Booneville, Arkansas  

She is survived by two daughters, Shawna Lang Cerda and husband Richard and MayKaylie Lang, all of Booneville; a son, Justin Lang of Colorado; a sister, Cheryl Denney of Booneville; two brothers, Steve Miesner of Booneville and Jason Deer and companion Alexis Ruston of Charleston; and six grandchildren. 

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
