Maxine Reed, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston. She was born June 19, 1927 in Chismville, Arkansas in Logan County to the late Lonnie Cox and Ivory Gertrude (Everett) Cox. She was 85 years old.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion Calvin Reed; four sisters and four brothers.

Maxine was a homemaker and attended Brooklyn Free Will Baptist Church near Ratcliff. She was so loved and will be missed by her family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will be at Paint Rock Cemetery, located south of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

Officiating the service will be the Rev. Vondal Davenport.

She is survived by her son, Lonnie Reed and wife Cheryl of Sedona, Arizona; two grandsons, Alexander Reed and Zachary Reed.

Pallbearers will be David Cox, Dale Cox, Dennis Reed, Ronnie Reed, Shae Reed, and Ron Reed.

Family will visit with friends 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday before the service.
