Maurice G. Humphrey, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, died Friday, January 22, 2021, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born January 9, 1948, in Paris, to the late Leslie D. Humphrey and Rose M. (Wurst) Humphrey. He was 73 years old. Maurice was one of the triplets and was preceded in death by his brothers, Marion Humphrey and Michael Humphrey.

Maurice worked for Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith for 35 years. He was a 1966 graduate of Paris High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was of the Baptist faith.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27th, at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Bill Van Meter.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty (Koerdt) Humphrey; two sons, David Humphrey and Greg Humphrey, both of Paris; a sister, Martha Peterson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one granddaughter, Tasia Humphrey of Fort Smith.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
