Maude Irene Hardberger, who resided in Rolla, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, in Rolla. She was born March 8, 1918, in Branch, Arkansas, to the late Levi Alexander Bennett and Kathryn A. Ritchey Bennett. She was 101 years old. She was preceded in death also by her husband, Charles H. Hardberger; and seven brothers and sisters.
Maude lived a long and wonderful life. Following her husband's death in 1981, Maude moved from Portland, Oregon to a beautiful golf course townhouse in Sierra Vista, Arizona. She lived there until December of 2010, when she moved to Rolla, Missouri. Her life was filled with fun, family, and golf. She loved to play golf, and she was in great health throughout her life.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28th, at Coles Chapel Cemetery, located south of Branch, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be her nephew, Bro. Roger Haney.
She is survived by her son, Charles J. Hardberger and wife Susan of Rolla; two grandchildren, Lance J. Hardberger and Andrea Rigsby and husband Jason; two great-grandchildren, Collin Bramel and Margie Lynn Hardberger; several nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends starting at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home.
