Mary Lou Wiggins resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at her home. She was born July 1, 1936 in Paris to the late John F. Butler and Myrtle L. (Martin) Butler. She was 74 years old.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alva Hershel Wiggins, Jr. and one brother, Joshua Earl Butler.
Mary Lou was an assistant funeral director and secretary for Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris and Charleston. She was a 1954 graduate of Paris High School and member of the First United Methodist Church in Paris.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 19th, at the First United Methodist Church in Paris, with Rev. H.C. Varnadore and Rev. Jim Rowland officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Ramsey & husband Leroy of Paris; two sons, Alva Hershel Wiggins, III "Skip" & wife Elwanda of Stigler, Oklahoma and John Martin Wiggins & wife Angela of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Zane Wiggins and Jorden Wiggins, both of Oklahoma City, Charli Wiggins of Greenwood, and Harrison Ramsey of Paris.
Pallbearers will be Mike Haney, Jerry Nehus, Winford McClure, Bryan Hutson, Bruce Cooper, Mark Glass, Joe Kearney, and Mike Hughs.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
