Mary Elizabeth (Martin) Wheeler of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on December 8, 1963 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the late Jackie Dean and Louise (Gash) Martin. She was 59 years old.

Mary was a medical caregiver.

She is survived by her husband, James Wheeler of Lake Elsinore, California; one daughter, Michelle Martin and husband Nick Puglia of Fort Smith; one son, Michael Martin of Fort Smith; one step-daughter, Tabitha Bernard and husband, Dit of Lake Elsinore; one step-son, Travis Wheeler of Alaska; three grandchildren, Nevaeh Martin of Fort Smith, Presley and Kadence Bernard of Lake Elsinore; one sister, Vicki Postell of Van Buren; one brother, Karl Hamilton and wife Dawn of California; two nieces, Christina Coleman of Van Buren and Kasci Hamilton of California and four nephews, Dwayne Gordon of Van Buren, Gary Gordon of Norwalk, California, Darryll and Dakota Hamilton of California.
