Mary Helen Stansell, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at her home. She was born September 16, 1943, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Carl Boise Patterson and Helen Querry (Nivens) Patterson. She was 75 years old.

Mary was a real estate agent for Century 21 for several years. She was a member of the VFW, and she was a protestant.

She is survived by a daughter, Tracy Celata of Fort Smith; a son, Jerry Stansell II, of Lincoln, Nebraska; a sister, Carla Joe Hannon of California; three grandchildren, Anthony Jones II, Alexander Celata, and Paighton Celata; three great-grandchildren, Lukas Bunn, Easton Jones, and Trey Jones.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services in Fort Smith.
