Mary Ellen Sprague, who resided in Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in Fort Smith. She was born on October 24, 1946, in Toppenish, Washington, to the late Donald Wheelock, Sr. and Eleanor (Hyland) Wheelock. She was 75 years old.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Colin Sprague; a daughter, Audra Turner; two sisters, Sharon Newman and Sandy Mullings; and a brother, Donald Wheelock, Jr.

Mary was a retired clerk in California.

She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Sprague of Merced, California, Darcey Wiens of Atwater, California, and Deanna Shaw and husband Michael of Greenwood; one brother, Ronald Wheelock of Ephrata, Washington; (12) grandchildren and (14) great-grandchildren.
