Mary Estelle Shirey, who resided in Poteau, Oklahoma, died Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was born September 6, 1932, in Ithaca, New York, to the late Harry Swank and Rhea (Ward) Swank. She was 87 years old.

Mary was a retired housekeeper.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Le Roux of Oklahoma City and Beth Eveland of Easton, Maryland; a son, Mark Shirey of Alexandria, Virginia; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
