Mary Nola Moore, who resided in New Blaine, Arkansas, formerly of Paris, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at her home. She was born August 15, 1925 in Covington, Kentucky to the late William Hawkins and Ivetta (Clayville) Hawkins. She was 87 years old.
Mary was a retired cocktail waitress and bartender. She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Paris Senior Citizens Center, and member of First Baptist Church in Paris.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 8th, at First Baptist Church in Paris, with the Rev. Tommy Hinson officiating.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherrie Chandler and companion Dale of New Blaine and Diane Chandler-Crawford and husband Gunny of New Blaine; two sons, Curtis Hensley and wife Patricia of Sacramento, California and Nicholas Moore and wife Anita of Walnut Creek, California; one sister, Gloria Kramer of Brookville, Indiana; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Jeffery R.L. Chandler, Gunnery Sgt.-USMC (Active Duty), Dana Williams, Louella Tiitto, Staff Sgt.-US Army (Active Duty), Nancy A. Sisk, DawnVanessa Stair, Tahnee Stair, and Sarah Crawford-Edens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Logan County Senior Citizens Activity Center @ 331 North First Street Paris, AR 72855 or Disabled American Vets or to The American Heart Association.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
