Martha Lou Bagley, who resided in St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Cecil, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, in Florida. She was born July 25, 1935, in the Harmony Community, west of Cecil, to the late Dudley and Ola (Griffith) Holden. She was 81 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Burk Bagley and a brother, Dudley "D.C." Holden, Jr.

Martha attended public schools in Cecil, Charleston, and Ozark, and graduated from Clarksville High School. She went on to college at the College of the Ozarks in Clarksville and graduated with a degree in education. Pursuing a life long career as a teacher, she taught in many locations in the United States and notably in Chile, S.A., and the Hawaiian Islands. The last several years of her career, she spent teaching at County Line School District and Adult Education in Fort Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28th, at United Methodist Church in Cecil.

She is survived by her two sons, Jefferson Bagley and wife Sherry and Christian Bagley; her granddaughter, Sydney and grandson Holden, all of St. Petersburg, Florida; one brother, Hugh Holden of Cecil; several nieces and nephews.
