Obituary

Marsha W. Mitchell, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at her home. She was born November 1, 1959, in Paris to the late Wayland Cecil Spicer and Radnia Cassie (Dooley) Spicer. She was 58 years old. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Spicer and Dianne Phillips.

Marsha was a cook at The Grapevine Restaurant in Paris for 19 years. She was a graduate of Scranton High School, and she was of the Baptist faith.

Graveside service will be held Monday, May 7th, at 2:00 p.m. at McKendree Cemetery, located north of Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be her brother, James Spicer.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jimmie Mitchell; three daughters, Rene Phillips and husband Robert Reel of Lamar, Anita Floyd and husband Donny of Conway, and Sasha Mitchell and companion Sam Carter, of Paris; one brother, James Spicer and wife Norma of Paris; three grandchildren, Mason and Cheridan Phillips and Rezzie Mitchell.

Pallbearers will be Mason Phillips, Robert Reel, Sam Carter, Chris Carter, Dave Bourland, Bill Lamb, James Lamb, and Chad Copsy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Lamb, Melvin Hancock, Danny Dooley, Kindel Hale, Ashley Hale, Lanny Woods, Kenny Snell, and employees of The Grapevine Restaurant.

Family visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6th at the funeral home.
