Marquis Rashawn Smith of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 26th, at Baptist in Van Buren. He was born on June 29, 1980, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Michael Smith and Marilyn (Smith) Smith. He was 44 years old.

Marquis was self employed as a home remodeling contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberley (Hallmark) Smith; a daughter, Kenzley Smith; two sons, Phelix Hallmark and Maddox Smith; two sisters, Darnith Everett of North Little Rock and Deborah Pitts of Jacksonville; and two brothers, Moncorrius Smith of Houston and Michael Pitts of Jacksonville.

A family held memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Dyer Community Building, 325 Loomis Lane, Dyer, Arkansas 72935.
