Obituary

Mark Edward Gilsinger, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 at his home. He was born March 14, 1966 in Fort Smith to Nick R. Gilsinger and Linda L. (Teague) Gilsinger. He was 45 years old.

Mark was job supervisor and concrete finisher for Buckner & Fleming Construction Company for 23 years. He was a 1984 graduate of Charleston High School, member of the Trapper's Association and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston.

Mark was an outdoorsman. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, and loved his new grandson, Jager very much.

Rosary service will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17th at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of over 22 years, Lisa (Kanze) Gilsinger of the home; one daughter, Kaylie Archey and husband Lance of Greenwood; his father and mother, Nick and Linda Gilsinger of Charleston; one brother, Mike Gilsinger and wife Kris of Fort Smith; one grandson, Jager Archey, and several nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Gilsinger, Mason Gilsinger, Marvin Holland, Jr., Alan Vendel, Todd Bevil, Gus Adams, Brian Adams, and Steve Fisher.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Buckner & Fleming employees.

Family will visit with friends following the Rosary service.
