Obituary
Marjorie Brown resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, February 1, 2009, at the Methodist Nursing Home in Fort Smith. She was born October 14, 1912 in Charleston to the late David D. Brown and Martha Jane O'Bar Brown. She was 96 years old.
She was a retired clerical worker for the Small Business Administration in Little Rock and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Charleston.
She is also preceded in death by one brother, Carl D. Brown and one sister, Dorece Brown.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2009, at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Mary Susan Hilliard and Rev. William A. Cheyne officiating, burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by one sister, Hilda Bess Warren of Fort Smith.
Family will visit with friends at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Charleston First United Methodist Church @ P.O. Box 35 Charleston, AR. 72933 or personal choice.
