Marjo (King) Hill of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, surrounded by loved ones at her home. She was born on January 6, 1939, in Charleston to the late James Perry King and Ella (Collier) King. She was 87 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reuben Duane Hill; a sister, Irene Hudson; two brothers, Paul (Bettye) King and Allen (Opal) King; and her twin brother, Joe King.

Marjo was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Charleston.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 11th at Lavaca First Baptist Church in Lavaca, with Pastor Steven Smithson officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Perry) Newman of Lavaca; two sons, Robert D. (Lori) Hill of Lavaca and David L. (Kelly) Hill of Van Buren; (8) grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Teague, Sara (Nick) Floyd, Rachel (Caleb) Pevehouse, Beth (Jason) Woolsey, Drew (Emily) Hill, Brooke (Jon) Parks, Summer (Chad) Cox, and Paige (Charles) Lolley; and (22) great-grandchildren, Tyler Teague, Kylie (Wes) Reed, Rayne Teague, Jalyn Teague, Jackson Floyd, Maxwell Floyd, Paizley Floyd, Perri Kay Pevehouse, Sadie Pevehouse, Adelynn Woolsey, Grant Woolsey, Luke Woolsey, Anniston Woolsey, Rhodes Hill, Ella Hill, Graycen Hill, Brayden Parks, Jace Parks, Corbin Kate Cox, Collins Cox, Avery Lolley, and Audrey Lolley.

Pallbearers are Josh Teague, Nick Floyd, Jason Woolsey, Jon Parks, Chad Cox, Drew Hill, Charles Lolley, and Caleb Pevehouse.

Honorary pallbearers are Nina Johnson, Jerry Rainwater, Dewayne Glidewell, Ron Williamson, the Senior Citizens Dominoe Gang, the Hales Family (Allen, Sr., Allen, Jr., Gunner and AJ), Bonnie Taylor, Sharon McKinney, Sha Brewer, Carolyn Ross, Reed and Barbara Haynes; and Jason and Tamera Chastain.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
