Marie Deal, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born June 2, 1928 in Logan County near Paris to the late Benjamin Franklin Case and Sevilla (Moore) Case. She was 87 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin William Deal; three sisters, Vertie Wooten, Mae Wooten, and Mattie Sue Greenfield; four brothers, Roscoe, A.B., Paul, and Charley Case.
Marie worked for Sula Mae's Restaurant in Branch and was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Eldon Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Moore Cemetery, located south of Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Boldt and husband Zane of Kingman, Arizona, Holly Tahbo and husband Willie of Parker, Arizona, and Mary Johnson of Ratcliff; six sons, Jimmy Powell of Searcy, Mark Deal and wife Stacy of Van Buren, Matthew Deal of Shady Point, Oklahoma, Melvin Deal, Jr. of California, Danny Zoller of Chino, California and Chuck Zoller of Menlo Park, California; one sister, Vestal McKamie of Charleston; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Deal, Matthew Deal, Melvin Deal, Jr., Eddie Johnson, Ryan Hilton, and Kaelin Richesin.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home in Charleston.
