Velta Margie Kirchner, who resided in Searcy, Arkansas, formerly of Shoal Creek, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born September 16, 1940 in Ratcliff, Arkansas to the late Thomas Jefferson Fox and Bessie (Street) Fox. She was 75 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Kirchner.

Margie worked for Stark Manufacturing in Paris for several years. She also worked for Tyson in Clarksville, and in her later years, she was a caregiver. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Patton and husband Johnny of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Carolyn Layton and husband Mike of Searcy; three sons, Floyd Boren of Juneau, Alaska, Frank Kirchner of New Blaine and Donald Kirchner of Conway; one sister, Mareen Sullivan of West Virginia; two brothers, Wayne Fox of Washington and chester fox of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
