Margaret Burcham, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away in her home on Sunday, April, 28, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on March 4, 1942, to her loving parents, Sidney Caldwell and Vera Tweedy Caldwell in San Diego, California.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Caldwell and Vera Tweedy Caldwell; two sisters, Donna Edgin and Judy Davis; and a nephew, Brandon Caldwell.
She was known for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor. Margaret brought laughter and joy to those around her. Her clever remarks and humorous anecdotes were a source of delight, lifting the spirits of friends and family alike.
Margaret was a dedicated homemaker, finding fulfillment in creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. In addition to her role as a homemaker, she worked in bookkeeping roles at Warehouse Market and Valley Transportation.
She is survived by her son, Brian Casey and wife Lorrie; a sister, Lisa Cunningham and husband Mitchell Acord; four grandchildren, Trista Casey of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tory Casey and wife Rachel of Cecil, Arkansas, McKennah West of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Kailee West of Ratcliff, Arkansas; three nieces, Sonja Wickens, Glynnis Taylor, and Misty Crumpton; five bonus grandchildren, Montana and Kyra Cunningham, Brandon Acord, Cheyanne Nellum and Zac Wickens; and last but not least her cat, Lizzie Lou.
Margaret was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Rory, Brilea, and Mya Casey.
The family will visit on Wednesday, May 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Her cremains will be buried at Hixson Cemetery in Ozark, Arkansas.
We would be like to give special thanks to Becky Edgin, Misty crumpton, Montana Cunningham, and Toi Conquest for all they did for Margaret during her time of need.
