Marcia Dawn Hensley, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born on November 5, 1978, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Gerald Dean Philpott and Deborah Lynn (Maritt) Philpott. She was almost 46 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Dean Philpott.

She is survived by her children, Summer Dawn Meeks of Fort Smith, Timothy Hess and Michael Hess, both of Tahlequah; her mother, Debbie Dew and husband Elvis of Tahlequah; three sisters, Tonya Maritt of Tahlequah, Ashley Schalk of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Melissa Dew of Tahlequah; three brothers, Gerald Maritt of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Roger Philpott of Tahlequah, and Anthony Philpott of Tahlequah; and one grandchild.
