Marcus Timothy Montelius, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, died Sunday, October 17, 2021, in Waynoka, Oklahoma, from a motorcycle accident. He was born on December 28, 1958, in Downey, California. He was 62 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin A. Montelius and Ardith Allene (Bolles) Montelius, and a son, Matthew Montelius.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Swanson) Stephens; his children, Meghan Montelius, Marcus B. Montelius, Miles Montelius, and Morgan Montelius; his step-children, Jacob Stephens and Candace Stephens; his grandchildren, Tony Montelius, Ian Montelius, and Aurora Lary.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
