Mamie " Nordin" Whorton ,89, of Paris, Arkansas died Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born January 31, 1918 in London, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Harmony Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, Buel Whorton.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at The Full Gospel Mission Church in Paris with burial at East Point Cemetery near London, Arkansas.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Nina Ruloph of Pais, Arkansas; Shirley Bradow of Port-Angeles, Washington. 5 sons; James Whorton of Stanwood, Washington; John Whorton of Russellville, Arkansas; David Whorton of Paris, Arkansas; Charles Whorton of Paris, Arkansas and Darrell Whorton of Harrison, Arkansas. She has 24 Grandchildren, 25 Greatgrandchildren and 7 Great-GreatGrandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shane, Jeremy, Nathan, Timmy, Nick, Jessie and James Whorton.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 Monday at Brotherton Brothers Funeral home in Paris.
