Maggie L. Weese, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born June 20, 1927 at home near Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Will I. Peters and Julia Elizabeth (Battles) Peters. She was 85 years old.

Maggie was also preceded in death by her husband, Houston Weese, and two sisters, Bonnie Wright and Hazel Brannon.

Maggie was a housewife. She enjoyed embroidering and quilting.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 16th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

She is survived by one sister, Betty Sitz of Marysville, California; numerous nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Wright, Jim Newman, Jimmy Newman, Kevin McCoy, Terry Harrower, and J.G. Harrower.

Family will visit with friends 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
