Obituary
Lyndell Eugene Goodson, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at his home. He was born June 23, 1930 in the Corley community in Logan County. He was 81 years old.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Lucille (Martin) Goodson; his mother, Irene Addie (Goodson) Bramlette; one daughter, Linda Mae Beal, and one brother, Bobby Goodson.
Lyndell was a 24 year retired 1SG in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran.
Memorial graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13th at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, with (Full Military Honors), under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
He is survived by four daughters, Jacqueline Riley of Charleston, Judy Lindberg and husband Gary of Florida, Cher Lundeen of Arizona, and Jacklyn Goodson of California; one son, Barry Goodson of California; two aunts, Pearl Wade and Ruth Rafe, both of Little Rock, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
