Obituary

Luther Estes Robins, Jr., who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born December 31, 1924 in Franklin County, Arkansas to the late Luther Estes Robins, Sr. and Leona (Aldridge) Robins. He was almost 90 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Inema (Rainwater) Robins.

Junior was a retired milkman for Chase Bros. Dairy in Oxnard, California. He was a WWII Army veteran, and was a member of Potts Freewill Baptist Church near Charleston.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30th, at Potts Freewill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dan Robins officiating. Burial will be at Potts Cemetery, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his two daughters, Cindy Combs of Charleston and Pam Connor and husband Bill of Bentonville; two brothers, Bobby Joe Robins of Chico, California and David Robins of Charleston; two grandchildren, Douglas Connor, Michael Nunes and wife Robi; one great-grandchild, Payton Nunes and one great-grandchild, Rylie Shelby.

Pallbearers are Scott Robins, Michael Nunes, Brady Roberds, Steve Cole, Butch Bradley, and David Rice.

Honorary pallbearers are Dale Rice, Charles Bohannan, Dick Madsen, Tudy Loughridge, J.C. Calvert, and Bill Purchett.

Family will visit with friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
